An Old Poem: What Is Beauty?

Sunday May 15, 2022

Sunday May 15, 2022

I've been trying to figure out what Beauty is.
Beauty is easy on the eyes. A living landscape built to bloom.
lighting up the room with pure pleasance, removing the apocalypse with your presence.

The opposite of repulsive, it's viscerally compulsive.
Like opening a heart without surgery, of witnessing truth without perjury.
It's the reflection of your inner image of perfection.
An institution. A visual, yet musical revolution.
A credit to your species evolution.

Evolution Despite Knowledge

Wednesday May 11, 2022

Wednesday May 11, 2022

Sometimes, knowledge held too hard can get in the way of our evolution.
We want to be quantifiable, to prove we exist by accumulating a Known Quantities to reflect ourselves visibly from,
We have to create spaces between our looming, static, existing mental definitions,
to see light and grow through.

You ever feel your life has no purpose?
Like a stringless kite, waiting for the wind to decide your way.
Or an unformed block of clay, praying for fate to shape your surface.
Believing that inside, you have a purpose, but not knowing what it could be.

Don't unconsciously stand underneath your challenges, allowing them to loom over you large.
We have to position our consciousnesses to be our challenge's equal.

Morning Amnesty

Sunday May 01, 2022

Sunday May 01, 2022

We can grant ourselves the blessing of Morning Amnesty, allowing ourselves time to wake, before taking upon ourselves our daily psychological burdens.
We need to develop a process of granting ourselves… ease in the morning, psychologically.
Gently permitting ourselves to achieve consciousness, and become an appropriate vehicle to process reality, rather than immediately falling in the deep end.

An Old Poem: I Love Words

Sunday May 01, 2022

Sunday May 01, 2022

I love words
Verbally forming intelligible allusions from ephemera.
Allowing every thought to be made audible and real.
I love the way words feel - when coming out of my face
as  they race  to make a connection.
I have  quite a collection.

Sunday May 01, 2022

Sunday May 01, 2022

What if Happiness was an equation that could be applied to every situation.
Once you understand the math of happiness, it becomes progressively easier to achieve.
